Formed deep within the womb of time, the game was spawned by the development and publishing tandem of Ivolgamus and Activision, the same dream team which gave birth to Monkey Mischief: Party Time, a similarly repugnant slab of immutable Wii detritus. For Block Party, however, Ivolgamus and Activision have gone to unprecedented lengths, using the blood of a goblin, seven drops of mucous from the Wind Squid and spoiled milk from the rancid teat of a three-headed demon to create a game so unspeakably unplayable, even the awful Chicken Shoot trembles at its very presence. Or so Ive read on parchment scrolls dating back millennia. And Internet forums. In all seriousness, Block Party is bad. Really bad, in fact, and I dont mean that in a Well, I didnt like it, but you might sense. Collect things, find coins, swing the Wii controller, etc… CGR does not find Up as exciting as some other animated movie games, but those with children who love Up may want to give it a look.
