Classic Game Room HD reviews RED STEEL 2 for Nintendo Wii published by Ubisoft. This first person shooter / sword fighting video game has players mauling waves of future bad-guys with a variety of tactics. Shoot them in the head or cut them into chunks with your katana, the choices are endless! Red Steel 2 for Wii works with the WiiMotion Plus Wii Motion Plus accessory for the Nintendo Wiimote. The swordplay responses are excellent as is the seamless transition into a shooter. Hack away with precision and pull off special moves and comboes. Red Steel 2 is the best sword fighting samurai ninja style game that I’ve seen on the Wii with a cool visual style and excellent action and weapon modifications. This CGR review of Red Steel 2 for Nintendo Wii has Red Steel 2 gameplay showing Red Steel 2 Wii game play in HD action.

www.classicgameroom.com Classic Game Room’s Derek reviews BLOCK PARTY for Nintendo Wii. Move over, Chicken Shoot, and make way, Ninjabread Man. Theres a new contender for the title of worst Wii game of all time, and as the Highlander once said, there can be only one. The challenger is known simply as Block Party. Formed deep within the womb of time, the game was spawned by the development and publishing tandem of Ivolgamus and Activision, the same dream team which gave birth to Monkey Mischief: Party Time, a similarly repugnant slab of immutable Wii detritus. For Block Party, however, Ivolgamus and Activision have gone to unprecedented lengths, using the blood of a goblin, seven drops of mucous from the Wind Squid and spoiled milk from the rancid teat of a three-headed demon to create a game so unspeakably unplayable, even the awful Chicken Shoot trembles at its very presence. Or so Ive read on parchment scrolls dating back millennia. And Internet forums. In all seriousness, Block Party is bad. Really bad, in fact, and I dont mean that in a Well, I didnt like it, but you might sense. Its inconceivable to me that a person would find anything even remotely worthwhile or entertaining about this game. Block Party is not only offensively substandard; its also technically flawed, a bit frightening and even downright misleading. If you played Monkey Mischief and maintained enough sanity to tell the tale, you should already know what to expect from Block Party. Not only is it …

Classic Game Room HD reviews RACQUET SPORTS for Nintendo Wii from Ubisoft. Play a variety of racquet related sports on your Wii using the Wii Motion Plus accessory like tennis, ping pong, badminton, beach tennis and squash. This game also works with the usb Eye control for Nintendo Wii. A direct competitor to Nintendo’s own Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, you may find the controls more responsive than most tennis style games on the Wii. This CGR review of Racquet Sports on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Racquet Sports showing sporting game play in Racket Sports on Wii *spelled wrong. What a racket!! Ubisoft’s Racquet Sports is a well made collection of five games all based on the one simple concept of having smooth motion controls on Nintendo Wii without many additional frills.

Classic Game Room HD reviews BEN 10 ALIEN FORCE for Nintendo Wii video game console. Based on the popular Cartoon Network TV show, Ben 10 is a side scrolling beat ‘em up video game with a 3D style and multiple character changing gameplay elements. This CGRHD review of Ben 10 Alien Force has gameplay footage from Ben 10 Alien Force on Wii (also available on Nintendo DS), showing Spidermonkey at the Waterfall, how to use Big Chill and Jet Ray and Kevin and more. How does Ben 10 Alien Force compare to other side scroller beat em ups like Streets of Rage? Your character has an Omnitirix to change into monster or alien forms (whatever they are, I don’t watch the show). This is a fun game and sells at a value price, it may not be the best video game ever made but it keeps to a relatively faithful 2D side scrolling beatem up style while adding some new elements. Plays acceptably with the Wii controller and nunchuck. You can also disable the motion controls which is what I did. Ben 10 is rated E for everyone and is clearly a kids game, but older games looking for some new games on the Wii can find enjoyment with it as well. Classic Game Room HD reviews Wii games as a Wii reviewer reviewing games like Ben 10 Alien Force on Nintendo Wii published by D3.

Classic Game Room HD reviews GOLD’S GYM CARDIO WORKOUT for Nintendo Wii, a fitness video game for the Wii. This review features gameplay footage from Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout on Wii published by Ubisoft. Boxing exercise is nothing new, but now you can have your own, personal trainer on the Nintendo Wii with this creative and catchy video game mixing a cardio workout with Guiter Hero style timing. Not a game (or Wii disc) for everyone, but it does what it was intended to do. It keeps exercise fun and gives the player (or kung-fu student) a bit of incentive to keep going every day and the ability to chart their progress. Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout is meant to be played every day or several times a week and has numerous boxing moves and exercise routines. Starting as a beginner you can throw punches, jabs, uppercuts, cross hooks and even dodge punches from an angry robot who is out for your head. Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout is an affordable way to have a peppy trainer every day and can be played by kids and adults alike. It may not have bloodthirsty, violent mayhem like some other popular games on the market, but it may appeal to those looking for something to stay in shape so that you can live longer to slay more zombies in video games as you get older! This exercise strength cardio trainer on Wii is reviewed by Classic Game Room HD, reviewing games you’d never expect the show to review… Dig it! An exercise wii video game review about boxing training calorie burning for …

Classic Game Room HD reviews LINK’S CROSSBOW TRAINING for the Nintendo Wii, the video game that comes packed in with the Wii Zapper gun add-on for shooting games on the Wii. This CGRHD review of Links Crossbow Training has gameplay footage of Link’s Crossbow Trainer being played. Is this just a cheap throw-away pack-in game or is it actually a well made, fun shooting gun game for the Wii? Watch the review and see. Link is the hero of the Zelda games from Nintendo and it’s fun to see him blasting away at monters, skeletons and other exotic creatures here in Link’s Crossbow Training. The environments are well rendered, game play is smooth and consistent and it challenges you by keeping track of high scores and pushing you to shoot faster and with better aim using a crossbow. Check it out, if you get the Wii Zapper you get this game from Nintendo. Classic Game Room reviews Wii games because CGRHD is a Wii reviewer reviewing Nintendo Wii shooters like Link’s Crossbow Training!

Classic Game Room HD reviews BITTOS for Nintendo Wii, a downloadable game from wiiware (technically called Bittos+ ). This is a catchy puzzle game which requires some getting used to but packs some unique challenge that separates it from other puzzle games like Tetris and Columns. Make bittos (or bits) blocks of more than 4 square things to score points and keep a multiplier going full speed ahead. This CGR review of Bittos for Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Bittos+ showing Bittos + puzzle gameplay game play in action from Nintendo Wii.

Classic Game Room HD reviews UP for Nintendo Wii. This video game is a kids’ game based on the Disney Pixar film UP. Players control characters from the film in a variety of missions that span the world. Play as a team and solve puzzles, fly airplanes and battle giant insects. Fans of the animated film may enjoy this game which is a fairly traditional movie-based game by today’s standards. Collect things, find coins, swing the Wii controller, etc… CGR does not find Up as exciting as some other animated movie games, but those with children who love Up may want to give it a look. Technically well made and published by THQ (RED FACTION!!!!), Up should keep players busy for hours. This CGR review of Up has gameplay from the video game Up on Nintendo Wii. Up is also on DVD and Blu-Ray (what about Betamax and HD-DVD!?)
