Hunt monster deer (mutated I assume) and save the earth from colonization. Monster deer are not to be trifled with, which is why you shoot them. With the help of your Cyclops-vision you can spot them behind trees and waste them in a hail of gunfire. Shoot down birds and ducks with a shotgun to rack up points as well. This CGR review of Cabela’s Monster Buck Hunter shows gameplay of deerhunting video game action on the Wii. Game Play in Cabela’s Monster Buck Hunter is traditional arcade style light gun shooting mixed with an odd career mode. 24 environments and 30 animals to shoot make this a fun party game or a serious hunting game depending on what kind of person you are. The controls are a bit odd for the career mode, but the competition mode is a blast with deer and birds raining from the sky begging to be blasted. That’s what I thought! That these bucks were some sort of mutants or monsters. I love Mark’s hunting game reviews or shooting reviews in general. I don’t know why, but they are super funny.

the good hunting games are the ones with an open world, where you can custimize your guns and take gear with you and shit.
Some game company seriously needs to port the old Deer Avenger PC series to Wii to counter this. Pull out the Redneck Call and lure them in with a few tall neck brews. Now, that’s what I call hunting. ;P

Cabelas’s is my favorite game, but you should get Cabela’s games for Xbox 360 Wii’s graphics suck.
I’m from the UK where our hunting culture is exclusive to the rich minority. So the massacre of innocently cute woodland creatures portrayed on-screen here left me in shock – and awe.
