I love the multiplayer … but the single player design is bad … it’s not based on skill, but on luck … and it’s just a plain annoying thing … things just happen that are NOT a coincidence !
If things just happened from time to time, but no … they happen ALL the time … blue shells, everybody is close to each other, if you get hit by something, you go from 1 –> 12 in seconds … I mean, we just play that to get the unlocks … but it’s really really bad game design … always has been tbh … I loved the MP in the gamecube version, DS version and this version … but the SP … I don’t play that for fun tbh …
I mean, we have fun, but it is also a very very frustrating game … I don’t mind if I suck at something, but like I said … the gameplay is NOT based on skill, but on luck (do I get good / bad items … do I get nasty items thrown at me? when I get hit, do I get hit 3 – 4 times in a row like happens all the time?).
why did they take the double item feature from double dash?

Because for there to be a double item feature you need to have two people on a kart.

i know, other critics only describe what the game is about and how it plays, at least CGR focuses more about how the game feels

this is like gran turismo and forza for wii and this game looks hd 4 me
