Does nobody here realize that metroid started out in 3rd person?
you are right. it started as a 3rd person platformer/shooter. now that its a first person shooter/platformer, its naff
people shouldnt go judging it now,its not comin out till awhile.the conduit looked crappy when the first trailer was realeased last year and now ppl r dying to play it

actually 3rd person isn’t really the proper term it was actually a side scroller. 3rd person games usually allow for 3 dimensional directional movement.
Summary of my bitching:
This doesn’t seem like a metroid game.. it looks and feels like something completely… different… not in an entirely positive way either.
I… quite frankly am… somewhat fearful of this…
My take:
I love how they have put in elements from Super Metroid and the past 2D Metroid Games [which I believe is the way Metroid should be, don't vote me down just for that], however I don’t like the direction that this is taking. The game seems as if it is being more action-driven than anything else and reminds me somewhat of that extra-mission in that tekken game (I can’t remember it, all I remember is “CHICKEN!”).

The game just looks Fucking Awesome its like a 3rd Person Mixed with 1st Person Gameplay and the Graphics are amazing the best Wii Graphics ive ever seen

Adam is in this. He’s the guy that said “Any objections lady?” Besides if you go back & play Metroid Fusion Samus mentions a guy saying those words to her during a elevator scene in Fusion. Also, Metroid Other M takes place between Super Metroid & Metroid Fusion. I’ve recently been playing Fusion that’s why I know all of this. Samus mentions some things related to this new game and Super Metroid.
