    nice … 5/5

Forget Crysis as a playable Benchmark. It’s taking all 4 of your 3.6ghz x86-64 bit cores to emulate a 700mhz single core PowerPC.

yer but as the emulator gets better it will use less resources, one could make a NES emulator that maxes out any commercial CPU.

Heh, it seems to me it’s easier to control it on the PC then on the actual Wii lol

wotz it like in terms of stability have you run many other games with it, i know some emulating sum software can be a bit buggy like the Ps3 emulator Still I think it’s pretty slick tho

Someday, you may not need an emulator. If the open source world creates something like Rosetta or PowerVM, It would be translated in real time and no emulation, just a virtual machine.

I’m sorry to bring this to you but a virtual machine is emulation! LOL

do you know of any xbox emulator?

  • aussie114

xbox 360, not really, xbox there is one called Xeon it can run one game Halo, the architecture is proving to be really hard to crack, we will probably see a PS4 emulator before the original xbox can be emulated, PS3 emulation is not viable at the moment either, maybe when a 32ghz( yes thirty-two) CPU is released.

    Stealing games is killing gaming.

do you thing 32bit systems can run the emulator

  • commodore256

No A Virtual Machine is not, Emulation is when you tell one one Processor to be another Processor. x86 pretending to be PowerPC, (Wii Emulation) x86 pretending to a Mos chip (Nintendo, Commodore, Atari and Apple II Emulation).

But, running Windows or Linux inside of VMware is not emulation, you’re not tricking windows or linux into thinking it on x86. (because you are, you don’t have to trick it)
